NFL Player & Draft Buzz
The New York Jets face a draft quandary at the No. 2 overall pick, as they contemplate selecting edge rusher David Bailey, despite the franchise never having drafted a defensive player that high in team history. Meanwhile, draft stock evaluations continue to shift, with prospects like Dillon Thieneman and Monroe Freeling having dramatically improved their standing since the beginning of last season, signaling potential first-round surprises. Separately, off-field legal issues surfaced when former NFL wide receiver and current Aviators coach Ted Ginn Jr. was charged with driving while intoxicated in Tarrant County, Texas, on Saturday.
