Injury Updates
Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his 31st game of the season as the Milwaukee Bucks faced the Atlanta Hawks, a significant absence for the two-time MVP's team. The Golden State Warriors' injury crisis deepened with four more players sidelined, extending their losing streak to four games and dropping them two games behind the Los Angeles Clippers. Coach Steve Kerr stated his team is "as beaten up as any team I can ever remember," emphasizing the severe roster depletion impacting their playoff positioning.
League Business
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver attended the Trail Blazers' game against the Utah Jazz, a show of league-level support following the Oregon Legislature's approval of public funding for the Moda Center renovation. The visit underscores the league's engagement with the franchise's long-term future in Portland.
