NBA Injury & Legal Updates
Harrison Barnes missed his first game since 2021 due to a sore left ankle that developed after a pregame nap. Prosecutors expect to extend formal plea agreements to 12 of the 31 defendants in the federal case involving rigged poker games with Chauncey Billups and Damon Jones. Billups faces potential decades in prison after connections to Mafia-affiliated poker games and illegal gambling surfaced following his Hall of Fame NBA career.
