Player Suspensions

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas suspended for five games after delivering a knee-on-knee hit that ended Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews' season, marking one of the NHL's harshest penalties this year for dangerous play.

Playoff Picture

The suspension leaves Anaheim shorthanded for crucial Western Conference matchups as they battle for playoff positioning, while Toronto faces an uncertain postseason without their leading scorer and Hart Trophy candidate.
