Ross Smith thrashed Gerwyn Price 11-5 to become World Series of Darts Finals champion in Amsterdam on Sunday. Smith won the last six legs, fired in 11 maximums, and dominated on doubles at 46 percent to claim his second PDC major, following his 2022 European Championship victory. Gerwyn Price, a seven-time PDC major champion including three Grand Slams and the 2021 World Championship, saw his checkout percentage drop to 26 in the back end of the match.

Luke Littler's hopes of a clean sweep of all major PDC titles in 2026 ended in the quarter-finals, where he was trounced 10-4 by Jonny Clayton. Having won the first five majors of the year and the World Cup of Darts for England, Littler aimed for all 11 titles but crashed out. Smith overcame Josh Rock in the last eight and Gian van Veen in the semi-finals to reach the final. Price advanced past James Wade and Clayton before falling to Smith.

Speaking after the final, Price stated, "I am playing some good darts, I am earning some good money. If I never win a major again I really don't care as long as I am doing well." Smith remarked, "It feels a bit mad... I am absolutely made up with the win. I am so happy." Sunday's results saw Smith defeat Price 11-5, with semi-final scores of Smith 11-8 Gian van Veen and Price 11-7 Jonny Clayton.
