Zalman Revives CNPS Design with ZET Series Coolers and Slim Second Screens

Zalman is bringing back the distinctive Ω-shaped aesthetic of its classic CNPS coolers from two decades ago, but with modern internals. The new ZET series maintains the barrel-shaped exterior while using aluminum fins in a tower configuration inside shrouds that direct airflow efficiently through the entire fin stack.

The entry-level ZET3 handles up to 210 W thermal load with a single 120 mm fan spinning 600-2000 RPM. Stepping up, the ZET5 pushes to 240 W using dual fin-stacks and an inner conveyor fan. At the top, the ZET7 manages 260 W with modular triple-fan setup featuring Pogo-pin connections for easy maintenance.

Alongside the coolers, Zalman introduced the ZM-MF916 secondary display. This slender panel measures just 269 mm x 70 mm x 15 mm with a 9.16-inch IPS LCD screen at 1920 x 462 resolution, connecting via USB 2.0 for system monitoring or extra workspace.

These products show Zalman returning to enthusiast hardware after years of focusing on budget segments. The ZET coolers compete directly with all-in-one liquid solutions while offering the reliability of air cooling, targeting builders who want performance without pump noise or leak risks.
