Wistron Corporation has celebrated the grand opening of its D1 AI smart facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This US$ 700 million facility is the first in the United States to mass-produce the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and will also produce the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Superchip. The 324,000 square foot plant leverages NVIDIA accelerated computing and digital twin technology for optimized production.

Led by Wistron Chairman Simon Lin and NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang, the unveiling was attended by government officials, highlighting a significant expansion of Wistron's global manufacturing capabilities. This new hub is crucial for Wistron's AI infrastructure manufacturing network, aiming to serve U.S. customers locally and strengthen the domestic AI supply chain.

Wistron's investment in Texas capitalizes on the state's advanced manufacturing ecosystem. The facility enhances upstream AI supply chain resilience by expanding domestic capacity for assembling and testing NVIDIA AI systems. This move signifies Wistron's commitment to building a one-stop operational ecosystem in the U.S., reducing delivery times and improving customer support.
