Wargaming drops a new free‑to‑play tactical shooter, World of Tanks: HEAT, today. Built on a proprietary engine, the title delivers rapid armored combat across eight maps and four PvP modes. Players start with three Agents—Chopper, Kent, and Hound—each controlling a pair of specialized tanks. The launch season packs five free weekly Battle Passes and a roster of fifteen vehicles today.

Cross‑platform play rolls out on PC—via Wargaming Game Center and Steam—plus PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Console modes include a default Performance Mode capped at 60 FPS at 4K and a Quality Mode at 30 FPS, while the PS5 Pro offers dedicated Performance Pro at 60 FPS and Quality Pro for maximum clarity. Players can progress across all titles for every player experience.

The game’s launch season rewards players with eight Agents, fifteen fully‑customizable tanks, and eight distinct battlefields. Each vehicle supports unique modules and equipment, letting crews shift from frontline defense to long‑range strikes. By unlocking new Agents through weekly passes, players can tailor their playstyle. Wargaming now positions HEAT as a competitive alternative within the tank‑shooter niche for casual and hardcore.
