Cyanide Studio has released a limited-time Steam demo for Styx: Blades of Greed, giving players an early look at the stealth sequel launching February 19th. The playable slice covers the game’s opening hour, introducing the goblin’s infiltration skills inside a massive golem and a high-risk zeppelin heist. Progress carries over to the full release, a smart move to build momentum toward launch.

The demo focuses on core stealth mechanics but holds back major tools like the glider and grappling hook to avoid spoilers. The final game promises three large open environments, including the Ruins of Akenash, plus new powers like mind control and time shifting. It’s been nearly a year since the game’s delay for extra polish, and this taste confirms the team is hitting its stride.

Pre-orders are live, offering skins and early access. After a nine-year franchise hiatus, Cyanide is betting big on returning to the series' infiltration roots.
