The RPCS3 emulator, an open-source project for Linux, macOS, and Windows, has reached a significant milestone, now capable of running 75% of the PlayStation 3's game library. This amounts to 2,681 out of the 3,559 published PS3 titles, according to the official compatibility list.

Notably, no PS3 games on the compatibility list have zero compatibility. Only a small fraction, 0.06%, are classified as "Loadable" (initializing but showing a black screen), and 1.69% are "Ingame" (loading but not progressing past the menu). A further 22.93% are playable to an extent but may be uncompletable due to bugs or performance issues.

While most PS3 games are progressing well in the emulator, some popular titles still face limitations. Games like Grand Theft Auto IV and Assassin's Creed II, III, and IV are rated "Ingame," and Battlefield 1943 remains in the "Intro" stage.
