Quantum Machines has unveiled the Open Acceleration Stack, a groundbreaking framework enabling seamless integration of classical processors into quantum control systems. This innovation allows quantum computers to support both Quantum Error Correction (QEC) and AI workloads natively. The platform expands Quantum Machines' Orchestration Platform, connecting its proprietary Pulse Processing Unit (PPU) with high-performance accelerators like NVIDIA GPUs, AMD CPUs, FPGAs, and ASICs via ultra-low latency links.

Users can now deploy hybrid CPU-GPU-QPU configurations for complex tasks such as real-time QEC decoding and advanced calibration, optimizing setups for specific performance and budget needs. Industry partners NVIDIA and AMD emphasized the critical role of tightly integrated classical compute in scaling quantum systems, with NVIDIA highlighting the NVQLink's role in enabling practical quantum-GPU supercomputing. This development marks a significant shift toward fault-tolerant quantum computing, as real-time error correction becomes essential for large-scale systems.
