Quadric, a developer of on-device AI inference engines, closed a $30 million Series C funding round, bringing total capital to $72 million. The round was oversubscribed and led by BEENEXT's ACCELERATE Fund, with strong participation from existing backers Uncork Capital and Pear VC. New investors Volta, Gentree, Wanxiang America, Pivotal, and Silicon Catalyst Ventures also joined. The investment follows a year of rapid commercial traction for the company.

Proceeds will fuel customer success and product development. The funding news coincides with Quadric reporting that product revenues more than tripled in 2025 versus the previous year. The company is entering 2026 with accelerating design-win momentum, driven by growing adoption of its General Purpose NPU processor IP. This technology is being deployed across edge LLM, automotive, and enterprise vision applications.

Quadric's Chimera processor IP is fully programmable, designed to run any AI model without becoming obsolete as architectures shift. This approach contrasts with legacy edge chips that often bolt on NPU accelerators. The company claims its toolchain enables chip designers to deploy LLM-capable silicon in under six months. Scaling from 1 to 864 TOPS, the cores are available in commercial and automotive safety-enhanced configurations.

The company recently announced two new license wins: an unnamed Asian edge-server LLM silicon provider and Japan's Tier IV, a pioneer in self-driving software. CEO Veerbhan Kheterpal stated the growth capital will be invested in the teams and technology that make customers successful. With product revenue traction and a growing software ecosystem, Quadric is positioning itself as a key player in the edge AI hardware sector.
