Panasonic Connect North America has launched the TOUGHBOOK 56, a powerful modular rugged laptop designed for mobile workers in public safety, utilities, enterprise, and federal sectors. The device delivers high-performance computing with AI capabilities, expanded connectivity options, enhanced thermal management, and advanced security features.

Built on the success of previous models, the TOUGHBOOK 56 introduces Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and offers optional AMD Radeon PRO W7500M with 8GB dGPU for boosted graphics performance. The laptop features a new 16:10 aspect ratio display, louder speakers, and improved connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and multiple ethernet port options. It's compatible with major carriers including AT&T, FirstNet, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

Available this May with MSRP starting at $3,325, the TOUGHBOOK 56 offers six modular areas for customization, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 4TB total storage with optional RAID-1 mirroring. The device meets MIL-STD-810H standards and includes FIPS encrypted drives, making it the first rugged device to offer this level of security. Panasonic designed the laptop specifically for frontline professionals who need reliable performance in challenging environments.
