Optoma has launched the UHZ36, a 4K UHD laser projector designed to replace traditional TVs with massive screen sizes up to 300 inches. The projector delivers 3,500 lumens brightness and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio for vibrant HDR content, featuring PureEngine technology for enhanced color saturation and PureMotion for blur-free fast action. The UHZ36 supports FILMMAKER MODE to preserve directors' creative intent.

Built with Texas Instruments DLP technology and Optoma's DuraCore laser system, the projector offers up to 30,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation in Eco Mode—lasting up to six times longer than lamp-based alternatives. The compact design includes a 1.3x zoom with throw ratio of 1.21-159:1, making it adaptable for various room sizes. Audio features include a 15W speaker and HDMI ARC supporting Dolby Digital and TrueHD formats.

Priced at $1,299 in the United States, the UHZ36 positions itself as an accessible entry point into large-format laser projection. Maria Repole, Optoma's Head of Marketing, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering immersive experiences with impressive performance and functionality. The projector joins Optoma's award-winning lineup as the brand maintains its position as the No. 1 DLP laser home projector in the Americas.
