NVIDIA has officially brought its NTC technology to Windows-on-Arm, preparing a full release on its RTX Spark PC platform. First shown at GTC 2026, NVIDIA demonstrated that NTC can cut GPU VRAM usage up to seven‑fold, dropping from 6.5 GB to 970 MB in test scenes.

The AI‑driven texture output lets games display high‑quality, complex materials without performance loss. Players can enjoy the same texture quality while benefiting from the substantial VRAM savings, as NTC emulates textures instead of storing full data.

For the upcoming RTX Spark, NVIDIA is expanding its software ecosystem so that games and buyers receive a mature, out‑of‑the‑box experience. SEGA has already released AAA titles optimized for RTX Spark and is allocating more resources to support the ecosystem.

NVIDIA is shipping the first preview of the CUDA toolkit for RTX Spark, a native Windows‑on‑Arm software kit. The platform offers configurations with 6,144 or 5,120 Blackwell GPU cores, a 20‑core ARM CPU, and up to 128 GB LPDDR5X memory, enabling emerging tech like NTC to run smoothly.
