At Computex 2026, MSI unveiled the Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld, built around Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor designed for portable gaming. The chip uses Intel Panther Lake architecture with a 2P+8E+4LPE core layout, pairing Coyote Cove performance cores and Darkmont efficiency cores. Boost clocks hit 4.7 GHz, while the Xe3 “Celestial” iGPU supplies 12 Xe cores.

The device sports a 9‑inch IPS‑level panel at 1920×1200 resolution, supporting a 48‑120 Hz variable refresh rate, full sRGB coverage and up to 500 nits brightness. MSI added Hall‑effect joysticks, an upgraded vibration motor, and an 80 Wh battery cooled by the Cooler Boost HyperFlow system with dual fans and heat pipes. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a microSD slot and a 3.5 mm jack.

Memory options top out at 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a single M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe slot for storage, while dual 2 W speakers with TD Audio and Hi‑Res support handle sound. MSI promises an updated MSI Center M UI and an Xbox mode that trims memory use for faster game launches. Availability is set for June 23, with a likely $1,499 price tag, though official pricing remains pending.
