MSI has launched the Herald BE9400, a PCIe network adapter that brings Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 to desktop PCs. The card fits into any available PCIe slot and connects via a USB 2.0 header, making it easy to upgrade existing systems with the latest wireless standards.

Supporting 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7), 802.11axe (Wi-Fi 6E), 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), and older protocols across 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands, the Herald BE9400 delivers a peak tri-band bandwidth of 5764 Mbps. It features a 320 MHz channel width, MLO (multi-link operation), and 4K QAM for enhanced performance and reliability.

Under the hood, the adapter uses the MediaTek MT7927 controller with a PCI-Express 4.0 x1 interface. MSI includes a magnetized antenna module that sits securely on top of the PC case for optimal signal reception. While pricing details remain undisclosed, the Herald BE9400 positions MSI as a player in the growing Wi-Fi 7 ecosystem for desktop users seeking cutting-edge wireless connectivity.
