Minisforum and Intel jointly unveiled the S5 and S7 all-flash NAS units at an event in Xiamen, targeting both consumer and enterprise storage needs. The S5 stands out with its fanless design, five M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x1 SSD slots, and Intel Core Series 3 (Wildcat Lake) processors. Designed for silence, it’s marketed for home theaters and noise-sensitive environments, featuring up to 16 GB LPDDR5X-7200 RAM, Wi-Fi 7, and dual 10 GbE ports.

Combined SSD throughput reaches 10.8 GB/s. The S7, built on the MS-03 workstation platform, supports seven NVMe slots and dual 10G SFP+ fiber ports, catering to heavy workloads and home-lab users. Both systems integrate MinisOpenClaw AI, enabling AI-driven photo searches and one-click installations.
