JAPANNEXT has launched the JN-282IPS4KP-HSP, a streamlined version of its earlier 28.2-inch 4K+ monitor. The new model keeps the uncommon 3840 × 2560 resolution IPS panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio but removes several connectivity features from the previous HSP-C90W variant. The updated version drops USB Type-C with 90 W power delivery and USB-A ports that enabled KVM functionality.

This 4K+ resolution provides roughly 18% more vertical space than standard 3840 × 2160 16:9 4K, making it particularly suited for productivity workloads. The glossy IPS panel covers 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color spaces, with 178° viewing angles, 1200:1 contrast, and 340 cd/m² brightness. It supports HDR and Adaptive Sync, with a 5 ms GtG response time.

The monitor includes two DisplayPort 1.4 ports running up to 3840×2560 @ 60 Hz, and two HDMI 2.0 ports @ 50 Hz at native resolution. Additional features include PIP/PBP support, flicker-free backlight, blue light reduction, 3 W speakers, VESA mounting, and a stand with height, swivel, and pivot adjustments. The JN-282IPS4KP-HSP is priced at 40,980 yen (approximately $263) on JAPANNEXT's official site.
