Chinese gaming peripheral maker GameSir unveiled its G7 Pro 8K PC controller at CES 2026, marking a significant leap in input device responsiveness. Developed with Aimlabs, this controller introduces an unprecedented 8000 MHz polling rate via wired connection, targeting competitive esports players who demand minimal latency. TechPowerUp observed two variants at the booth: a black Aimlabs Edition and a 'gaudier' Champion sample.

The controller features proprietary Mag-Res TMR sticks, clicky hall effect micro-switch triggers, and optical micro-switch face buttons. Unlike the previous Xbox-licensed G7 Pro models, these new versions forgo Microsoft certification to focus entirely on PC competitive gaming. This strategic shift allows GameSir to push hardware boundaries without platform restrictions, potentially setting new standards for PC gaming peripherals.

The combination of ultra-high polling rates and esports-grade materials positions this as a premium offering for serious PC gamers.
