Framework recently teased its first mini‑PC qualification platform built around the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, a major step up from the earlier Ryzen AI Max+ 395. The new chip supports a maximum unified memory of 192 GB, a 50 % jump over the 128 GB limit of its predecessor, allowing users to run larger 300 billion‑parameter AI models or multiple concurrent agentic workflows.

The test platform’s specs were confirmed on its Insyde UEFI splash screen, which displays the processor model as “AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with Radeon 8065 S” and its memory configuration as 192 GB of LPDDR5X‑8533. The Radeon 8065 S is a minor upgrade to the 8060 S, featuring a slightly higher engine clock.

AMD plans to launch the entire Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 400 series later this year as a dedicated AI development and inferencing platform, with its main distinguishing feature being the 192 GB memory support. The company has standardized the PRO feature set across the series, providing remote management capabilities comparable to Intel’s vPro.
