Corsair's sim racing hardware brand, Fanatec, has announced a new licensing partnership with Nissan to develop officially licensed sim racing steering wheels. These wheels will draw inspiration from Nissan's performance driving heritage, aiming to provide racing simulation enthusiasts with an authentic experience.

The collaboration merges Nissan's automotive legacy with Fanatec's sim racing hardware expertise. While specific design and feature details are forthcoming, the products will prioritize craftsmanship, ergonomic precision, and visual authenticity. This move expands Fanatec's existing steering wheel offerings.

Nissan sees the partnership as a way to engage its global fan base and the sim racing community, with Senior Manager Yukika Sato expressing excitement about this "licensed category extension." Fanatec's VP and General Manager, Tobias Stelzer, echoed this sentiment, calling it a "natural fit." Further product specifications and launch timing are expected later this year.
