Dell Technologies today announced it will be the first OEM to ship desktops powered by NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. These systems, called Dell Pro Max, integrate NVIDIA's NemoClaw open-source stack and OpenShell runtime, enabling enterprises to run autonomous AI agents locally with enhanced security. The GB300 desktop delivers unprecedented power, packing 20 petaFLOPS of FP4 performance and 748GB of coherent memory into a single machine, allowing developers to run large-scale models without cloud dependency.

This development addresses a critical challenge in deploying autonomous agents: balancing powerful local computation with robust security and governance. NVIDIA's OpenShell provides an infrastructure layer that isolates agents, enforces policies, and starts with zero permissions, solving the tension between agent autonomy and enterprise security needs. Dell Pro Max systems, including the GB10 model with 1 petaFLOP performance, are purpose-built for always-on agent workflows and offer efficient cooling via MaxCool technology.

Executives from both companies emphasized the significance. Dell's COO highlighted that enterprises require local deployment on sensitive data with strong controls, which Pro Max and OpenShell deliver. NVIDIA's VP stated OpenShell enables agents to run with greater privacy and security, while Dell's systems provide the necessary desktop-scale compute. This partnership fundamentally changes how developers build and deploy AI agents, bringing frontier-level intelligence directly to developers' desks.
