Capcom has announced that Pragmata has gone gold, confirming the sci-fi action game is ready for its April 17, 2026 launch across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows. The milestone comes after the publisher moved the release date forward from April 24 and celebrated surpassing 2 million demo downloads and wishlist additions.

Originally unveiled in 2020 with a planned 2022 release, Pragmata underwent multiple development iterations before landing on its current 2026 launch window. The game represents Capcom's first new franchise since Dragon's Dogma in 2012, blending third-person shooter combat with hacking mechanics in a narrative-driven sci-fi setting. The project has been in development for nearly five years.

Hitting gold status signals Capcom has finalized the game's code and is preparing for manufacturing and distribution. With the demo's strong performance and the gold milestone achieved, Pragmata appears poised to make a significant impact when it launches next month, marking a major new IP for the Japanese publisher.
