AMD Q2 2026 Results: Record Revenue & AI Push

AMD announced its Q2 2026 financial results, reporting revenue of $11.5B, a gross margin of 54%, operating income of $2.0B, and net income of $2.3B. On a non‑GAAP basis, the gross margin rose to 56%, operating income hit $3.1B, and net income climbed to $2.8B. Dr. Lisa Su highlighted the record revenue and noted that Data Center sales more than doubled year‑over‑year, driving the growth.

Segment performance showed Data Center revenue at $6.7B, up 107% YoY, while Client and Gaming segments grew 6% and fell 31% respectively. Embedded revenue reached $977M, a 19% increase.

AMD launched the AMD Helios rack‑scale AI server, the Instinct MI400 GPU family, and 6th‑Gen EPYC CPUs, and introduced ROCm.ai. Strategic partnerships with Anthropic, Microsoft, and Cerebras aim to accelerate AI deployments across cloud and edge platforms.

Looking ahead, AMD projects Q3 2026 revenue of $13B (+/- $300M), a 41% YoY increase, and maintains an estimated non‑GAAP gross margin of 56%.
