AMD has launched its Crimson Desert promotional campaign, offering a free copy of the upcoming Black Desert Online prequel with select Ryzen and Radeon hardware purchases. The promotion runs from February 10 through April 25, with redemption available until May 23. The campaign includes current-gen 3D V-Cache Ryzen 9000X3D processors and RDNA 4 Radeon RX 9070 XT/9070 graphics cards.

Qualifying CPUs include the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D, and 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D, with the Ryzen 7 9850X3D receiving special pre-campaign purchase eligibility. On the GPU side, only the high-end Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 (both 16 GB models) qualify, while the more affordable RX 9060 XT and Chinese-market RX 9070 GRE are excluded. The promotion also extends to select gaming laptops from MSI, ACER, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, Gigabyte, and Razer featuring current and previous-generation Ryzen processors.

Crimson Desert is scheduled for release on March 19, giving consumers ample time to purchase qualifying hardware before the game's launch. This promotion follows AMD's strategy of bundling popular titles with high-performance components to incentivize purchases of its latest Ryzen 9000X3D and Radeon RX 9000-series hardware.
