NBA Injury & Trade Rumors
The Warriors suffered a setback as center Kristaps Porzingis exited Friday's road loss in Detroit due to lower back spasms, raising immediate concerns about postseason readiness. Meanwhile, speculation surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo's future intensifies, with reports suggesting that a potential trade this summer faces complications stemming from a rare ownership structure and internal financial turmoil, leaving interested franchises uncertain about who controls the franchise's decision-making process regarding a blockbuster deal. Separately, fantasy managers are re-evaluating their rosters, questioning whether to keep Antetokounmpo or Mikal Bridges, even as Luka Doncic continues to post historic numbers and players like Ayo Dosunmu exhibit notable improvement in recent performances.
Off-Court Honors
In a surprising cross-sport recognition, NBA legend Dennis Rodman is slated for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, according to sources familiar with the matter, acknowledging his tenure in professional wrestling during the height of the Monday night wars era while he was a champion.
