In another match, Jack Campbell scored twice on his debut to help St Helens beat Catalans Dragons 34-18. Despite Catalans taking an early lead, St Helens responded with a blitz of three tries early in the second half. Catalans fought back, but Campbell's second try and a late score from Harry Robertson sealed the win for St Helens.
