The West Ham United Fan Advisory Board (FAB) has urged co-owner David Sullivan not to attend home matches, citing concerns that his presence could be a "distraction" and a potential security issue. The FAB stated that Sullivan's attendance might cause "offence and upset" to supporters and provoke negative reactions.

Sullivan, who resigned as director and joint chairman in June before allegations of sexual misconduct were published, has denied all wrongdoing. The FAB highlighted that stadium operators have reportedly advised Sullivan against attending games, and that West Ham's ground regulations allow entry refusal if an individual could be a danger or annoyance to others.

Despite Sullivan being a significant shareholder, the FAB expressed disappointment that the club has not prevented his attendance. They believe it risks reopening tensions from his previous leadership. The FAB praised the current executive team and improved dialogue with supporters, urging fans to focus on backing the team for their upcoming EFL Cup match against Portsmouth.
