Four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen will compete in the Nurburgring 24 Hours, racing a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Red Bull colors. The Dutchman joins Verstappen Racing with teammates Jules Gounon, Dani Juncadella, and Lucas Auer for the endurance challenge at Germany's legendary Nordschleife circuit.

Verstappen previously raced at the Nordschleife this year, initially winning with Britain's Chris Lulham in March only to be disqualified for exceeding the permitted tire allocation. With 161 cars competing simultaneously, the team faces challenges despite being considered favorites in one of motorsport's most demanding 24-hour events.

The Nurburgring 24 Hours gets underway Saturday at 1:30pm, with the race starting at 2pm and concluding 24 hours later. This marks Verstappen's latest venture outside Formula 1, adding to his diverse racing portfolio while the F1 season prepares for the Canadian Grand Prix on May 22-24.
