Toulouse Olympique delivered their biggest ever Super League victory with a commanding 60-18 win over Catalans Dragons in the French derby at Castres. The match formed part of the inaugural French-Magic Weekend, with Toulouse running in 10 tries to claim their fifth win of the season and first ever triumph over their French rivals.

Luke Polselli, Brendan Hands, Mathieu Jussaume and Olly Ashall-Bott each crossed twice for Toulouse, while Thomas Lacans and Paul Ulberg added further scores. Jake Shorrocks mastered nine conversions and a penalty as Toulouse built a 20-point half-time lead before extending their advantage in the second half. Catalans responded through Kruise Leeming, Matthieu Laguerre and Toby Sexton, but the 11-minute burst before the break proved decisive.

The heavy defeat leaves Catalans in eighth place, six points adrift of the play-off positions, with head coach John Cartwright describing it as a 'real punch in the face.' Toulouse climbed six points clear of Huddersfield Giants at the bottom of the table, with player of the match Ashall-Bott calling it a 'big statement' from his team.

This result reshapes the Super League relegation battle significantly, with Toulouse now holding a crucial advantage over the Giants while Catalans face an uphill climb to salvage their season.
