Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw is set to depart Manchester City when her contract expires this summer after months of contract talks. The 29-year-old striker has scored an impressive 110 goals in 133 appearances since joining from Bordeaux in 2021, despite helping City win the Women's Super League on Wednesday.

Shaw is poised to claim the WSL Golden Boot for a third consecutive season with 19 goals in 21 games. She set a competition record in March with the fastest hat-trick in WSL history (12 minutes 37 seconds). Chelsea is among the clubs interested in the Jamaica international, with potential offers also coming from the USA.

Shaw completed her domestic double bid with City as they advanced to the FA Cup semi-finals against her potential future employers. Having been named WSL Player of the Season for 2023/24 with 21 goals in 18 games, the striker's departure represents a significant loss for the reigning champions.
