Scotland will host Japan and Curacao in home friendlies at Hampden Park ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Steve Clarke's side faces Japan on March 28 before welcoming Curacao on May 30. These matches provide crucial preparation for Scotland's return to the World Cup, their first since 1998.

The home games follow a historic qualification campaign where Scotland secured their place with a 4-2 win over Denmark at Hampden. Clarke's squad will also play two away friendlies, to be confirmed soon, as they build towards Group C fixtures against Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil in the USA this summer.

Scotland's World Cup opener is against Haiti in Boston on June 14, followed by Morocco on June 19 and Brazil in Miami on June 24. The Curacao match offers a tactical preview against CONCACAF opposition before facing Haiti. Clarke emphasized selecting tough opponents to ensure proper preparation for the global tournament.
