Roos Saves Penalty as Kilmarnock Snatch Draw Against Dundee

Kilmarnock goalkeeper Kelle Roos emerged as the unlikely hero, stopping a stoppage-time penalty from Dundee's Joe Westley to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw in the Scottish Premiership. The spot-kick decision followed a lengthy VAR intervention after Jamie Brandon fouled Scott Wright, creating chaos right at the final whistle.

Joe Hugill put the home side ahead early after a loose header from Luke Graham, but Dundee responded quickly through Simon Murray’s header following a fine delivery from Tony Yogane. Michael Schjonning-Larsen then restored Kilmarnock’s lead before the break with a superb strike from the edge of the area.

Managerial changes from Dundee eventually paid dividends when substitute Imari Samuels set up Scott Wright for the equalizer, leveling the scoreline with just minutes remaining. Despite the late drama, Kilmarnock remains stuck in the relegation play-off spot, though they now sit just two points adrift of St Mirren in the standings.

Roos guessed correctly, diving to his right to deny Westley and deny Dundee the chance to steal all three points in the dying seconds. The draw keeps the survival battle tight at the bottom of the table, with Kilmarnock earning a point through sheer defiance.
