Joseph Parker is "relieved" after the British Boxing Board of Control lifted his suspension for a failed VADA drug test that showed traces of cocaine on the day of his October loss to Fabio Wardley. Manager David Higgins said Parker denied taking banned substances and is now "champing at the bit" to return.

The former WBO heavyweight champion, 34, feels at his peak and wants to fight twice before the end of 2026. Higgins is "supremely confident" Parker can regain a world title, citing Lennox Lewis as precedent.

Parker's old belt is held by Daniel Dubois, who rematches Wardley later this year. Higgins says Parker would target the winner, also welcoming a rematch with Dillian Whyte. "Unfinished business" exists with both, per Higgins.
