England's Mimi Rhodes holds a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Ladies European Tour's PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyadh. The 2024 LET Rookie of the Year carded a three-under 69 on Thursday, mixing four birdies with one bogey to reach 11 under par at Riyadh Golf Club.

Rhodes, who shared the overnight lead, built her round with birdies at the 10th and 13th before a bogey at the 16th. She recovered with back-to-back gains from the first hole to move clear of the field. South Africa's Casandra Alexander and Japan's Chizzy Iwai share second place at 10 under after matching second-round 67s.

Solheim Cup stars Carlota Ciganda and Charley Hull remain in contention, sitting four and seven strokes off the lead respectively. Ciganda, who made a hole-in-one in the opening round, posted a 68 to reach nine under. Hull, chasing her first LET victory since 2024, surged up the leaderboard with five birdies in a seven-hole stretch. The tournament features a congested leaderboard with 17 players separated by just four shots as play continues Friday.
