Josh Coburn's second-half equaliser earned Millwall a crucial 1-1 draw against promotion rivals Ipswich at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys took the lead late in the first half through Jack Clarke, whose cross found Ben Johnson, whose fierce delivery was cleared off the line. Millwall responded early in the second period through Coburn, whose powerful strike from close range levelled the scores.

The result sees both teams remain in third and fourth respectively, two points behind second-placed Middlesbrough, who drew 0-0 at Blackburn, though Ipswich hold a game in hand. Dan Neil's late chance for Ipswich was saved by Anthony Patterson, while Christian Walton made a crucial save from Camiel Neghli. Millwall's leading scorer Clarke opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a low drive from 25 yards, weaving past defenders before firing past Patterson. Coburn's late goal in the 50th minute, following a Neghli cross, was controversially ruled offside after Walton was fouled on the line.

Furlong headed a header just wide and Neil's shot took a deflection, while substitute Mihailo Ivanovic struck the crossbar late on as both sides settled for a point.
