Martin O'Neill agrees with Celtic captain Callum McGregor's criticism of the team's striking selections and insists they will "sort it out" before the Premiership trip to Falkirk. The Hoops started the Dundee United match with three centre-forwards, leading to a disjointed performance that saw them trail 2-1 at half-time. O'Neill made changes, bringing on wingers Jota and Hasseim Hassan, which helped secure a 2-2 draw.
Despite maintaining their four-point lead over Rangers, Celtic have lost all three of their Europa League games. McGregor highlighted the lack of a defined profile for each striking position, noting that players often behave like wingers or strikers inconsistently. O'Neill acknowledged that Callum Osmand and Camilo Duran are genuine centre-forwards, emphasizing the need to establish the right positions.
With Rangers and Hearts in League Cup semi-finals, Celtic have a chance to extend their lead to seven points. O'Neill also mentioned that players like Jordan Lotomba and Joel van den Berg will get opportunities in the coming weeks.
