Manchester United are enduring their worst start to a season in 40 years, with nine league games without a win. Despite the dire form, interim manager Michael Carrick retains the full support of the fans. The club is on track for relegation, with only goal difference keeping them out of the bottom three.
Carrick, a former United player under Sir Alex Ferguson, is seen as one of their own, embodying the club's values. Fans believe the problems run deeper than the dugout, rooted in long-term structural issues and ownership. With seven permanent managers since 2013, none have mounted a genuine title challenge.
Some fans even see relegation as a potential catalyst for change, hoping it forces the owners to sell.
