Manchester United has confirmed the site for its proposed 100,000-seat stadium, positioning it roughly 350 metres north-west of Old Trafford. The club acquired the majority of the required land two weeks ago, advancing the Trafford Wharfside Masterplan that aims to transform the area into a year-round sports and entertainment hub alongside thousands of new homes, upgraded public transport, and walking and cycling routes. United will continue playing at Old Trafford (capacity 74,879) during the estimated five-year construction period.
