Lottie Woad returns to defend her ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open title, a year after her stunning professional debut victory at Dundonald Links. The then 21-year-old Woad held off Hyo Joo Kim to win, becoming only the third player in LPGA Tour history to win on their first professional start, following Rose Zhang and Beverly Hanson.

Woad, now 22, has enjoyed a remarkable year, achieving five top-10 finishes in majors and securing a second LPGA Tour win at the Kroger Queen City Championship. She currently ranks fifth in the Rolex Women's World Rankings. Despite her recent successes, Woad remains grounded, reflecting on her debut win as a special moment and expressing excitement for her return to Scotland with family.

As she prepares to defend her title, Woad will once again be grouped with world No. 1 Nelly Korda and Charley Hull for the opening rounds. Dame Laura Davies noted Woad's fearless competitive spirit, suggesting she has the qualities to become a future 'rock star' of golf.
