Momentum is building for Liverpool under new manager Andoni Iraola. Their victory over Brighton made it four wins in a row in all competitions. The hosts were rewarded for attacking quickly and directly, in the style of their head coach.
Liverpool had to ride their luck at times, but the victory extended their unbeaten run to eight in ten games going back to September.
