### Knicks stage historic comeback as Brunson shines in playoff OT thriller

Jalen Brunson scored **38 points** as the New York Knicks erased a 22-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime, completing one of the NBA's most improbable postseason comebacks. Trailing 93-71 with under eight minutes left, Brunson sparked a decisive run that tied the game at 101 apiece before New York opened overtime with a **9-0 burst**.

Bridges added 18 points and OG Anunoby scored 13 after returning from a strained right hamstring, with nine of those points coming in overtime. Cleveland's Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 29 points, but the Cavaliers' fourth-quarter collapse proved fatal. James Harden managed just 15 points on poor shooting and turned the ball over six times.

The Knicks won their eighth straight game, moving within three victories of their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999. Coach Mike Brown praised Brunson's relentless aggression and Anunoby's defensive versatility as keys to the rally.
