Japan's Yuto Katsuragawa seized a two-stroke lead at the Genesis Championship after tying the Woo Jeong Hills Country Club course record with a flawless eight-under 63 in Saturday's third round. The 28-year-old surged to 13-under overall with four birdies in his first five holes, matching Jinam Kang's 2006 mark.
South Africa's Casey Jarvis sits second at 11-under, chasing a third victory of the 2026 season following wins at the Kenya Open and South African Open. A win would vault him toward the top three in the Race to Dubai standings, currently led by Eugenio Chacarra, Patrick Reed, and Rory McIlroy.
Reed and McIlroy are absent this week. Chacarra, the standings leader after his India win, sits 10 shots back in a tie for 30th. Only two events remain on the European tour schedule: Abu Dhabi and the season finale in Dubai.
