Royal Ascot’s final day delivered a showdown in the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, where Australian sprinters Joliestar and Overpass contested a 19‑horse field. Joliestar entered as the pre‑race favourite, backed by strong form in her last two runs, while Overpass, fresh off a third‑place in the King Charles III Stakes, stepped up to six furlongs. James McDonald piloted Joliestar from stall nine.

Last year’s runner‑up Satono Reve returned to challenge, having chased home Lazzat and placed second to Ka Ying Rising in Sha Tin. Andre Fabre added depth with Sajir, Flora Of Bermuda and Lake Forest, while Aidan O’Brien’s stable supplied Jan Brueghel and Lambourn for the Coronation Cup places. They proved competitive in recent European sprints. The field promised a tightly contested sprint.

The meeting also featured a Group Two Hardwicke Stakes clash between Kalpana, Jan Brueghel and Goliath, and a 28‑runner Wokingham Stakes where Double Rush and Binhareer led the betting. Double Rush carried a ten‑pound penalty but drew stall 24, while Binhareer, fresh from a narrow York second, started from stall 22. Sky Sports Racing broadcast every race live, with Alex Hammond anchoring from 1.30 pm.
