Gerwyn Price claimed his record-making 10th European Tour title with an 8-6 victory over Ross Smith in the European Darts Grand Prix final in Sindelfingen, Germany. The Welshman became only the second player in history to reach double figures in European Tour victories, joining Michael van Gerwen in an exclusive club.

It was another devastating final defeat for Smith, who reached his fourth Euro Tour final but has now lost all four. The Englishman's missed doubles in the 11th leg proved costly when Price found another break of throw to move 6-5 ahead, and the Welshman held his nerve to wrap up victory on D12.

Price admitted both players struggled in the final, telling Sky Sports: "I think me and Ross probably both tried a bit too hard in that game." He now turns his attention to Thursday's Premier League Darts clash against Gian van Veen in Liverpool, where he will look to build on this momentum.
