Fury Family Feud Erupts Before Tyson's Return

John Fury has revealed his relationship with son Tyson is "completely destroyed" ahead of the heavyweight's comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. The outspoken father also claims his son is "past his best" and questions trainer SugarHill Steward's guidance during Tyson's loss to Oleksandr Usyk. This public rift comes as Tyson prepares for his first return to the ring since December 2024.

John emphasized his role in building Tyson's career, stating "I've never taken £10 off him in my life" and "don't forget who built his story when he was a kid." He believes the physically-grueling trilogy with Deontay Wilder took too much out of Tyson, claiming "he's not got a leg underneath him" anymore. John predicts Makhmudov poses significant problems for his son.

The criticism extends to Tyson's potential future fights, with John insisting "nothing's gonna change" if Tyson faces Usyk again. "Tyson's getting weaker and Usyk's getting stronger," he declared. Despite the public fallout, John maintains he loves his son but feels too many people are building him up as "invincible" when he believes his best days are behind him.
