Promoter Eddie Hearn claims he has 'never been more confident' that Anthony Joshua will defeat Tyson Fury in their expected heavyweight clash this year. The two-time world champion is currently training with former opponent Oleksandr Usyk ahead of his July 25 comeback against Kristian Prenga. Hearn believes this preparation has positioned Joshua perfectly for the blockbuster British battle.

Despite no venue or date being finalized, Hearn remains convinced Joshua will emerge victorious. 'Fury's a tremendous fighter, very clever,' Hearn told Sky Sports. The promoter acknowledges Fury will likely take a warmup fight first, but insists money remains the primary obstacle with Fury reportedly unhappy about the purse being offered.

'Unfortunately, Tyson Fury's used to earning a lot of money and perhaps the purse that has been suggested is not one that he's very happy about,' Hearn explained. However, he insists both sides ultimately want the fight to happen. Joshua's July 25 comeback against Prenga takes priority, with Hearn focusing on that result before tackling the Fury negotiations.
