Duran impressed again as Celtic rounded off pre‑season with an entertaining 2-2 draw against AC Milan. Duran scored and assisted to put Celtic in a commanding position, but a quick‑fire double from teenager Francesco Camarda early in the second half proved enough to deny Celtic victory.

Duran's first goal came after a shocking back‑pass from Strahinja Pavlovic, slotting a left‑footed shot into the corner. His second followed a defensive error, with Luke McCow's pressure forcing the mistake and James Forrest lashing home emphatically.

The home side were comfortable heading into half‑time, but AC Milan substitutions saw the away side pull a goal back just a minute after the restart. Camarda converted a penalty and then headed in a cross from Samuel Chukwueze to level the score.

Celtic’s substitute Thomas Hatton curled a shot wide before forcing a late save. Manager Martin O'Neil praised Duran, noting he can be a big asset if injury‑free, while the club celebrated the move of cult hero Daizen Maeda to Premier League Ipswich.
