Daniel Dubois believes a future showdown with Tyson Fury is possible if both men win their next fights. Dubois, the WBO heavyweight champion, calls the potential matchup an all-British blockbuster of 'blockbuster' magnitude. Fury is scheduled to face Anthony Joshua on December 11, while Dubois meets Fabio Wardley in a highly anticipated rematch on October 17.
Dubois previously knocked out Joshua and believes he can overcome Wardley again. He acknowledges Fury's drawing power but insists he is solely focused on the upcoming Wardley bout. Dubois claims Wardley should have been stopped sooner in their first encounter, calling the gambles taken with his opponent dangerous.
He promises a quicker, more clinical finish in the rematch, stating he just wants to 'stick it on him again.' Dubois remains confident he can rise to the top of British heavyweight boxing, regardless of who stands in his way.
